Why you must fire a problem employee sooner than later

An exit interview is a meeting between a boss and the employee after his separation. First, it gets the attention of a jobholder who has great potential for the small company but who needs to shape up. The act of taking a worker aside and criticizing them can be stressful and sometimes backfire. Now and then these personnel have a following of other coworkers who are just as abusive and misbehaving. And the strain of a wrongful termination suit may affect your personal life. Dishonest employees are a danger to both the business and employee esprit de corps. The reprimand can come as a written notice, dock in pay, or just a simple discussion about the problem. Sacking an employee for having a bad demeanor can be a huge problem in the day-to-day business of any firm. And have your legal adviser review them before using the letters in a separation. Every firm should have set ground rules and guidelines, and every employee should have a hard copy which discusses offenses that may result in immediate suspension or termination.

For example, a worker might lose his transportation and could no longer get into work. Keep in mind there are several laws that apply to worker rights in separation. For example, if he says, "The firm nurse told me my supervisor was out to get me. (Undoubtedly, when the company already has policies and methods about dismissals, these supersede the list below.) (When you are not the sacked employee's boss, be sure you bring the supervisor as a witness.) Indispensable employee syndrome is a proprietor's (or any boss's) fear that a jobholder can't be replaced because he uniquely contributes a large share to the firm's results.
